India to Iran: An Immersive Exploration of Persian Culture

Arrival, meet and greet at the airport, transfer to hotel. Depending on your arrival flight, the following morning, we will begin a full-day tour of the capital, Tehran (If you arrive early, you will need an extra night in Tehran). You are starting with a walking tour through old Tehran and visiting the old Gate of Tehran, Golestan Palaces, Imam (former Royal) Mosque, and the Grand Bazaar, a large roofed old shopping complex. Today you are welcomed in Shiraz, the city of gardens and nightingales.
We will start our Shiraz tour by the Karmikhani complex – Karim Khan Zand, the founder of the Zand dynasty who chose Shiraz as his capital—visiting Zandieh Complex: Karim Khan’s citadel, Pars museum, Vakil bath (traditional Iranian bath), Vakil mosque, Vakil bazaar- the traditional bazaar of Shiraz and Moshir caravanserai.
You can visit a famous Iranian Muslim holy place: Shah-Cheragh Shrine, a funerary monument, and a mosque in Shiraz with unique mirror decorations.
In the evening, you can visit Hafez & Saadi’s tombs (Shiraz is famous for these two great Persian poets), Eram and Gahan-Nama Garden, and Quran Gate (with a view over Shiraz).

Drive to Isfahan; the journey takes 5 hours; this is an exciting drive as the road is amongst one of the most beautiful roads in Iran; you will enjoy beautiful greenery, valleys, and rivers to Isfahan. Upon arrival, we will head to the banks of the Zayanderud River, the city’s soul. Several historical bridges over this river were erected during the Safavid era (17th Century). Siosepol (33-arch) and Khaju bridges are the most famous ones. We enjoy visiting these two interesting bridges, drinking tea at the tea house below the bridge, walking along the river bank, or paddling on a boat from one to the other. In the morning, we start our full-day tour of Isfahan at the UNESCO world heritage site of Naghsh-e-Jahan Sq. Once a royal polo court, this site was the official center of the city when the city was the Safavid Capital (17th Century). We will visit the famous Imam Mosque (Royal Mosque) on the square’s southern side with incredible architecture and tile-work. overnight Isfahan.

On your last day, you will head to the world-famous Abiyaneh village, a fascinating village with ochre-colored houses, lattice windows, fragile wooden balconies, and many splendid views. Abyaneh village is one of Iran’s most stunning and exciting tourist attractions from various viewpoints. During your Iran visit, visiting this village will be an unforgettable experience. After Abiyaneh, you will visit Kashan cities with famous and traditional gardens such as Fin Garden. You will spend the night at a traditional Inn called “Manouchehri House,” which is very popular amongst tourists in Iran. overnight Kashan.

After spending a night in Kashan, we will drive directly to Tehran’s international airport for your departure flight home.
